Behind The Scenes 2017 Ford GT Design

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in January of 2015, the 2017 Ford GT was a smash hit! With an almost entirely carbon fiber chassis tub and bodywork that has been hand-laid, this monster is not just a example of beauty but hand made craftsmanship as well.  That carbon fiber drops the weight on this vehicle down to astronomically low levels, so much so that chief engineer Jamal Hameedi said the GT is targeting the "best power-to weight ratio of any car on the market."  Although Ford has yet to reveal the actual weight, Ford has promised to…

The Ford GT is Back!

We reported on the rumors earlier this year, but now we finally get to see the real deal! That's right the Ford GT is returning this year!  Although it does bear a strong resemblance to the Ford GT that inspired us growing up, the internals have been upgraded to the latest cutting edge technology. The supercharged V8 is now gone, replaced by a Ecoboost engine. But this is not just any old Ecoboost, this is a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 engine with 'more than' 600bhp pushing those rear wheels.  And although we don't have exact figures yet, you…

Ford Lets Loose the GT350R Mustang

The Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is a beast to be reckoned with, but in case that wasn't enough for you, Ford has just unveiled the GT350R.  Ford tells us that it is the most track-capable street legal Mustang ever. Although most of the details are sketchy we do know that this beast will harbor a flat plane crank V8 with at least 500 horsepower and 400-lb. feet of torque; Ford's first ever magnetic ride suspension; 130 pounds lighter than the GT350; and no air conditioning or rear seat.

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Has Arrived!

01 Ford has just dropped the veil on it's all new ultimate off-road beast!  The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is here, with a twin-turbo Ecoboost V6 engine.  The power plant is supplemented with a 10-speed transmission.  And like previous Raptors its a full six inches wider than the standard F-150. Ford hasn't yet released the details on how much power the new Raptor has, but only that the turbo V6 will have "more" than the last generation's 411-horsepower, 434-lb.-ft 6.2-liter V8.  But the story of the Raptor was never really about the power, it was about…
