Service Greeter

The Service Greeter is responsible for greeting customers at the service drive, transporting customers and their vehicles, and maintaining the presentable state of the service drive. Apply now and please email your resume to kaylee.hutton@mhford.com!
SCHEDULE:
Service Greeter must be available to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Service Greeter is expected to work at least 40 hours per week and is non-exempt from overtime.

SUMMARY:
The Service Greeter is responsible for greeting customers at the service drive, transporting customers and their vehicles, and maintaining the presentable state of the service drive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
  • Greet customers as they enter the service drive
  • Transport customer and customer vehicles to and from the dealership
  • Prepare fluid samples for customers
Operation of motor vehicles
  • Take possession of customer vehicle to park until vehicle is serviced
  • Drives vehicle to customer after service is completed
  • Reposition vehicles on lot for best access
Maintains presentable state of service drive
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Clean service drive by sweeping and/or mopping
  • Other general maintenance of service drive

Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record as outlined by company policy

Quick Lane Technician

SCHEDULE:
Quick Lane Technicians must be available to work from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with an 8-week rotation. Quick Lane Technicians will receive one day off a week for 7 weeks, and then on the 8th week work all 6 days with no day off.  This position is not exempt from overtime and paid based on a portion of the hours flagged by the Quick Lane.

SUMMARY:
Quick Lane Technicians are responsible for performing basic maintenance and simple repairs on customer vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs maintenance on customer vehicles
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Drain oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil
  • Replace oil and air filters
  • Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary
  • Check tire pressure
  • Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
  • Rotate and balance tires
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and
  • manuals-returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to Manager
  • Keep shop area neat and clean
  • Recommend additional services and other needed repairs
Maintains knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Participate in training programs as assigned by the Service Manager
  • Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins
  • Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean-notify a service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Experience
  • Automotive experience required
  • 1 year of experience preferred
Education / Certifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
Certifications / Licensures
  • Valid Driver's License, Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record as outlined by company policy

SCHEDULE:

The Delivery Team member must be available for their shift between 9:00 a.m. to the last vehicle delivery of the day, Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week. This position is non-exempt from overtime and the Delivery Team member must work overtime as needed.

 

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service, outstanding product knowledge, and educating customers about the vehicle they have purchased.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining product knowledge

  • Maintain master level Ford certification
  • Maintain Sync Specialist certification
  • Maintain knowledge about new and used cars for sale through operation and research

 

Educating customers about products

  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate how to use each feature to customer
  • Explain manufacturer's service and benefits (EX: Navigation, Sync, etc.)
  • Explain dealership services, such as Tires for Life, diner, etc.

 

Assisting customers with other services

  • Traveling to retrieve or deliver vehicles for customers
  • Traveling to educate customers about products
  • Meet all other customer needs

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • 1 year of experience in a customer service position is required

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

 

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Operate all types of automobile (under class C license), including manual transmission
